Supported Devices

The following Canon devices are compatible with the most current released version of our Embedded product.

Supported Regions & Countries:

  • Canon USA states their certification covers installation of Canon Embedded on MFDs located in all North and South American countries and territories (Americas). Canon USA does not publish a list of the countries and territories included in the Americas region.

  • Canon EUROPE states their certification covers all countries and territories located in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). Canon EUROPE does not publish a list of the countries and territories included in the EMEA region.

  • Important: Canon Embedded is not certified and cannot be installed on MFDs located in countries outside of Canon’s EMEA and Americas regions (i.e. Asia-Pacific/APAC).

  1. The device’s Platform Version can only be obtained using Canon’s Remote Operation Viewer or the touch screen. This information cannot be obtained from the device’s remote web browser UI.

  2. Press the Counter button.

  3. Press the Device Information/Other button.

  4. Press the Check Device Configuration button.

  5. Platform Version is listed on the Check Device Configuration page as pictured below.

  1. Open a web browser

  2. Enter the URL DeviceIP/MediaManager/index.jsp

  3. If necessary, log into the PRISMAsync controller’s web UI

  4. If you see the below pictured web page then a PRISMAsync controller is installed and Canon Embedded is not compatible with the MFD.
